The Thule 809 Double-decker Surfboard Carrier is built around a stacked board configuration utilizing soft, but durable pads in-between boards and spring-loaded locking straps protected by chafe guards to secure them to the carrier's two main assemblies attached to each of your roof rack's load bars. The system features a standard carrying capacity of two surfboards or sailboards, and even allows for expanded capacity to transport an additional third board with the inclusion of an additional pair of load straps (sold separately).
